Dr. Melody Coates earned her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M and furthered her degree in Physical Therapy receiving a Doctorate at UT Southwestern.

She evaluates and treats patients of all ages with a variety of diagnoses, including orthopedic, oncologic (with emphasis on breast cancer and head and neck cancer), TMD (TMJ impairments), and vestibular/concussion. Dr. Coates has 9+ years of experience treating in a hospital-based outpatient clinic and is certified in Functional Golf Assessment, Trigger Point Dry Needling, Oncology Rehabilitation, and Concussion Rehabilitation.

Dr. Coates grew up playing a variety of sports in the DFW area with her main focus being soccer and basketball. She continues to play soccer with her husband for fun! Dr. Coates enjoys spending time after work with her daughter and son. She has always had an interest in the medical field and a fascination with how the human body works leading her to her calling of being a Physical Therapist. PhysioFix and Restore, LLC allows her the flexibility to be able to prioritize her clients and her family. Being a Lantana resident gives her the ability to treat in proximity to her clients in the Lantana/Flower Mound community.
