Orthopedics
We treat a variety of general musculoskeletal conditions including but not limited to spine pain, postoperative rehabilitation, joint pain, sprains, and strains. We use a biomechanical approach to evaluate your dysfunction and treat through movement to return your functional mobility. We also use a variety of manual therapy techniques including manual and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, trigger point release, myofascial mobilization, muscle energy techniques, mobilizations, and trigger point dry needling.
Vestibular Rehabilitation
We evaluate possible causes and contributing factors to acute or chronic dizziness, unsteadiness, visual vertigo, disequilibrium, and related nausea and/or headaches. Then, we can begin to treat the dizziness, improve your balance, reduce your fall risk, and alleviate motion sensitivity. Common diagnoses that cause dizziness can include benign peroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), vestibular hypofunction, vestibular neuritis or labyrinthitis, vestibular schwannoma, history of stroke, Mal de Debarquement, and migraines.
TMD
(Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction) We examine the underlying contributions to your jaw pain including postural alignment, clenching, popping and clicking, and age related changes. Common diagnoses include abnormal posture, clenching and grinding, post-operative conditions, disc dislocations, and degenerative changes. Although, your pain may be focused in your jaw, we treat with a full body approach to insure longterm results.

Oncology Rehabilitation
A rehabilitation program designed from the point of initial diagnosis, throughout the course of cancer related treatment, and post diagnosis to ensure maintenance of function and restoration of your physical well being to resume your life! Common interventions may include range of motion, soft tissue or joint mobilization to maintain mobility post-surgery or radiation, lymphedema management, and strategic exercises to maintain and improve strength and energy level.
Trigger Point Dry Needling
Dry Needling is an invasive procedure in which a monofilament needle is inserted into the skin and muscle directly at a trigger point. A trigger point is traditionally defined as the presence of tenderness when palpating a taut band of muscle. TPDN is NOT acupuncture and falls within the scope of practice of a trained physical therapist. TPDN is based on Western medicine principles and research.
"Research supports that dry needling improves pain control, reduces muscle tension, normalizes biochemical and electrical dysfunction of motor end plates, and facilitates an accelerated return to active rehabilitation."- AAOMPT

Concussion
Rehab can be crucial in the early days to weeks following a concussion. We provide an examination to determine areas of concern including visual disturbance, dizziness, post-concussion headaches, disequilibrium, and/or intolerance to movement or exercise. Once we target these areas, we can begin a personalized treatment program. Common interventions may include visual exercises, balance training, progressive cardiovascular program, coordination training, movement habituation, and optokinetics.
